For this piece, photographs of the magnolia tree in the backyard have been transformed into a mixed media painting. It incorporates acrylics, oil paint, oil sticks, gel medium, and platinum chrome paint. The work is created with many layers on a wooden/linen frame and is framed in a matte black floater frame. Due to the use of chrome paint, this work appears to change constantly with the constant play of light. Various tools, including brushes, sponges, palette knives, and even fingers, are employed to apply the materials. This process creates a dynamic interplay between digital precision and manual artistry, often leaving viewers pleasantly intrigued. This captivating creative journey seamlessly merges digital and traditional techniques, resulting in unique abstract art pieces that showcase layered, texturally rich compositions.
